I don't think there is. With Floyd gone, McGregor has a strong case for being the most popular fighter out there.

I'm going to guarantee that Conor's next PPV will surpass both Pacquiao an Canelo's combined. That's how big he is.

Canelo vs. Rosado will likely do 300-400K, Pac-Bradley 3 probably 350K.

McGregor vs. Dos Anjos will do at least 1M.

Canelo is just as big in Latino markets... Overall in the states only- RHONDA is by far the most well known.. Even my mom n sister know who Rhonda is..

Conor and canelo are about the same...

Rhonda was fighting bums and drawing a million PPv buys... On par with Aldo-Conor and canelo-Cotto... If Rhonda ever had a truly big time rival (holy holm rematch) she would do insane PPv numbers, maybe not floyd 2 mil buys but she would be cracking 1.5 mil

Americans are so thick. The reality of combat sports is that on a world scale UFC/ MMA is not on the same level of success as an international sport like boxing. Americans take their country and apply it's culture to the world. In the UK boxing is regularly in the papers, Boxing stars are featured on shows like I'm a celebrity and Celebrity Big brother. In Germany when the Klits or Abraham fight millions of viewers tune in. in Japan you have huge boxing stars like Kameda in the philipines when Pacman fights everybody watches in a country with 90 million people.

Boxing and UFC are not even comparable in terms of worldwide success. UFC is an American phenomenom boxing is a global sport.

In fact on a world scale boxing is more popular than your most popular sport Football (American Football) another sport that is only big in one nation.

That's the health of the sport on a regular Saturday Tyson fury before he was champ pulled in 4.5 million viewers. When Ricky Hatton fought Floyd Mayweather the fight pulled in 925K in america and 1.2 Million in the UK (The US has a population of 300 million to the UK's 60) Boxings "decline" is american, the UFC's "popularity" is american and your delusions are american.

The end never again compare a global sport to a national one.

Next you'll be telling me Lacrosse is going to over take soccer (football)

Mma does not even crack 700,000, but they are suddenly going to do 1 million?

The sport is not as popular as the media and its fans want you to believe. If people against boxing think boxing is barbaric, what do they think about mma which is much bloodier?

America is the most important country in the world. It pains us (Americans) knowing how little our country cares about the sport.

**** off. How can one nation be the most important in the world? A good chance that you elect Donald Trump as your next president, This makes your nation a JOKE! It's the most important country to the people living there yes but that's where it stops!

McGregor's last two have both done over a million.

Expect every fight he's involved in to do the same.

Oh lord, get out of here with that nonsense. They were both popular already before mentioning Floyd's name (especially Rousey, who was already drawing 1M buys for her fights), and the idea that someone is gonna become this big(ger) draw just because they mentioned a bigger star's name in an interview is absurd.

Precisely. In fact, there's talk the McGregor's next fight will bring him approximately 20million.

I'll say this, though. I feel Canelo will be at the top of the sport in boxing much longer than McGregor will be in MMA. Conor isn't well-rounded enough and large-framed enough to stay at the top long in the Lightweight division, which he is jumping to for his next fight. It's a very short window of opportunity for him.

My bet is she won't be fighting ever again. Unlike what UFC hype told us she's mentally weak and can't stand not being the best. She ran away from judo and will run away from MMA.

She was never really punched or kicked hard in her head before, it's horrible for a judoka who is not used to boxing to take that kind of life-shortening beating. She's not sure in herself and knows there's a big chance she gets smashed again.
