I've watched every Pac fight since Morales I but I'm seriously doubting I'll PPV this on. HBO the follow week? Sure. PPV? Outlook not so good.

"going into this promotion, veteran promoter Bob Arum has said he will not be marketing this as Pacquiao's final fight for fear that 'the Pac Man' may fight on past this date."

This surprises me. I thought Arum would promote this fight as Pac's last regardless of whether he continues to fight or not.

Arum is being honest for once.

I disagree with the whole passing of the torch thing. Even at this stage, Bradley has been on the decline, has been in many wars like Manny. Bradley will never sell and never sell good on PPV, so this isn't a passing of the torch it was the easiest money fight TR could make at the time.

I also don't think Manny is done, he will fight at least 1-2 more times imo.

I think this was set up so the winner would fight a big money fight against Canelo in September. Oscar just saud Canelo may fight at 154 soon. Plus He also said let the GGG fight marinate and Arum said Manny may fight 3 more times. Bradley 3, Canelo, Mayweather 2 or Marquez 5 is my guess next May.

Manny will fight 3 more times..... Bradley, and then twice more....

Just like Arum/Pacquiao BOTH publicly stated back in June BEFORE Arum noticed Mayweather get away with Berto as a retirement fight.

Arum is NOT being honest about Bradley, OR about Pac's retirement.

Arum is taking the opportunity to state LONG and LOUD, at every possible occasion, that he will not be marketing this as Manny's retirement fight, "EVEN THOUGH IT COULD BE".

I firmly believe BOTH Pac and Arum know that Manny will fight 3 more times, they are simply trying to get away with the in-house opponent Bradley, based on the fact that this COULD be Pac's last fight..... even though it won't be.
