Why would Khan fighting a prospect be "fine"? How's Danny Garcia going to get lumped in with Errol Spence? Come on Larry.

Tbh, Khan hasn't had bad opposition lately, he just gets hate for numerous reasons (race, religion, nationality, beating on Americans and so on). Wins over Alexander and Algieri are by no means bad.

Sadly, he has been very inactive and in 2013/2014, it wasn't entirely his fault as Floyd dangled the carrot, talked of a fight and then backed out. In 2015, it was entirely Khan's fault.

This year, he has to pick up the pace, go back to fighting 3 times a year and the quality of opposition he was fighting at 140. This year would be phenomenal if he fought one of Porter or Brook, possibly Bradley (after the Pac fight and with better relations between Haymon and HBO) and then finished it off against a decent level fighter.

I say he takes a fringe contender in early spring and Brook in the summer. But he could also consider the Thurman/Porter winner or a Garcia rematch if he cares to rebuild his stock.
