Comments Thread For: Haye Feels Validated With Fury's "Mistake" of Rematch Clause

Former two division world champion David Haye feels validated in his belief that Tyson Fury made a big mistake in agreeing to a rematch clause with Wladimir Klitschko.

Even before Fury's shocking upset of Klitschko last November, Haye felt the rematch clause was a big mistake.

I've changed my tune on Fury giving Haye a "3RD" chance,i hope he fights this bum and sends him off into a blackhole. His big mouth is getting annoying.Finish Klitschko off in the rematch and then fight Haye, but give Haye peanuts Fury.

Make him fight for pennies, see how much desire Haye will have then.Haye's talk of coming back for titles is a load of bull.sh.it,he needs the £/$.

If anyone deserves a rematch after all they've achieved in boxing, it's Wladimir. Haye has achieved **** all and doesn't deserve the **** off Fury's shoe.

I doubt Fury was ever getting a fight with the controlkos without a rematch clause! Fury needed that fight and needed to walk into Vlad's kitchen to do it...that has always been the way the Klits negotiate.

Fury was mandatory, he didn't have to do a rematch, but it makes sense because that's the biggest money fight for him.

The way Haye ****ed the Furys around was unforgivable. Pure classless behavior, now his tune has changed to a pathetic kiss ass so he can make a few quid.

Haye's a fringe contender now & needs to clime the ratings, He's still got a lot of talent & can get back into World title contention if he fights the right fights, which must include Joshua or whoever's WBC or IBF titlist later this year before a fight with Fury/Klitschko comes off. As Jack"Doc"Kearns stated to rest is to rust & DH has been just too inactive!

This is pure horse****. Who cares if Fury is stripped of belts? He's still the champ.

The rematch is the highest paid, most lucrative option for him. Other heavyweights are too high risk, not enough reward compared to a Wlad rematch.

Mandatories are not obligated to do a rematch clause.

Haye is saying that if fury wouldn't have agreed to the rematch clause he could have dictated the terms of the rematch.

Being that he accepted the rematch clause, the terms were already locked in for a rematch if wlad lost.

So basically fury could have made more money in a rematch without the rematch clause.

                    That's all haye is saying.
