My guess is I this is because Warren owns a paid subscription channel called BoxNation which would likely air it there.

GGG should do it, as long as HBO still airs it here.

Umm, didn't think that outright lie would go unchallenged. No one said they would never face Ward, no matter the purse.

In fact, it's Ward who now says this fight will never happen.

Truth is, by the time Ward showed any real interest in GGG, he knew he was gonna be turned down. He had a shot, after being offered the fight by HBO and by team GGG,but he waited until Golovkin was busy to pipe up.

Team GGG turned Ward down because he waited until GGG was the mandatory to Cotto/Canelo, and had Lemieux PPV signed and sealed.

Turned out to be a good move, considering that in the time he would of been waiting for Ward to tune up, GGG will have had at least two, possible 3 unification fights.

Team GGG said they could revisit it in 2017, Ward now says never gonna happen. Ward wanted in fall of 2016.

They were about 6 months apart on when the fight could happen, but Ward biiiitched and moaned. And he hasn't even done one tune up yet.

This is about to get interesting, if PBC didn't have that other belt canelo couldv'e fought for it and Golovkin for Saunders...then they fight for the whole bag late next year.
