Comments Thread For: Saunders: Eubank Lacks Guts, Avoids Jacobs For British Title!

IMO Saunders is close to at his peak as a boxer. Eubank has much more upside potential. Whether he will realize that is another matter. Apart from the existing grudge, which is multi-level what with FW not liking Eubank Sr at all, I think that Eubank upside potential is something that Saunders recognises so while he is No.1 in Britain he is crowing about it.
I re-watched the Lee fight last night. In all honesty I don't see anything that great about Saunders. He is slick but that is about all. I would like to see him in with N'Dam - that would be a fun matchup if he wants to take an easy route. Lemieux if he wants to go tough.Comment

WTF are you even talking about? Did I say anything about his name? 70% of the comments you post on this forum have nothing to do with anything.
Anyway, what I'm trying to tell you, '*****' isn't a offensive term in Romania where you live, but it is offensive in UK where BJS and Hugh live.
It's like Kovalev and his 'negro' comments. 'Negro' isn't a offensive term in Russia but it is in USA hence uneducated morons on here think he's a racist.
Both you and Kovalev should've thought before you said things you did, that's all I'm saying.Last edited by Szef; 01-09-2016, 09:52 AM.Comment

The term is strongly associated with itinerant life and constant travel: ***** is directly derived from pike which, c. 1520, meant to "go away from, to go on" and related to the words turnpike (toll-road) and pike-man (toll-collector).

The term is offensive in the UK, the country Saunders lives in, is that so hard to understand?
And I'm not overreacting nor do I think you're an analphabet. Just a little ignorant and pretentious.Comment

I bumped into this "*****" term in 2000, when I first watched Snatch. I did my 'homework' back then, when the term didn't seem that "offensive". But maybe, in the meantime, things changed.Comment
