Floyd Mayweather gifted fighter. The guy is not a role model, is not smart, is not altruistic....why should anything he says be quote worthy? Im gonna listen to a wife beating, punch people in the face smakin individual pontifiating on what is relevant? who is more ******? Mayweather or the people quoting him?

Personally i would take the present Ali and quote his silence before I would ask Mayweather about anything that does not involve a purchase he is making.

How telling that Floyd would come to the defense of another perpetrator of violence against women. If you want to make a case for racial inequality, there are better examples than a serial rapist who made a fortune exploiting caricatures of African-Americans for white consumption.

He should be ruffling more than the feathers of rascists. When you have so many outstanding members of the black community...people like **** Gregory, who makes himself available ("Im in the phone book"), why ask floyd about these issues? What gives him the privaleged position as "ruffler?" the fact that he beat up women? and that question becomes fair game because we are not talking about Floyd boxing...

you must be talking about dumb rascists because I guarantee, the real white oppressors...LUVES when Mayweather pontificates on these issues! Listening to floyyd speak of Cosby and police brutality while wise men remain silent guarantees ignorance for one and all.

It's getting harder and harder to be a fan of Floyd when he continues to say things like this. This is not a good representation of us.

The only reason I think Bill Cosby ****d all of those women is because he's admitted it about 5 times and because he did.

Floyd **** is not okay. Police brutality isn't even a real thing in America anymore quit watching Fox News so much.

Has Floyd ever said anything that was right or that was close to being right?

Both are wrong but how about Floyd speak on the even bigger issue. Black on black killings. He can use his star power to travel to inner city neighborhoods where blacks are shooting and killing fellow blacks on a daily basis!

I did some research into the Cosby case just recently. Over fifty women, from different geographical areas, spanning decades, have accused him. These women vary in age, race and social standing. Yet, they all seem to tell a very similar story. A few of the accusers appear to be unreliable, but they're in a small minority. Could all of these women be lying? Based on what I've read, that's highly unlikely. But let's assume all but one of them lying. That still makes Bill Cosby a rapist. It's as simple as that.

As for women not coming forward with **** allegations in a timely manner, it's well-known that many legitimate **** victims do exactly that. One needs to understand that **** victims feel shame and embarrassment about what happened to them. It's not uncommon for victims to come forward years, even decades later. The victim is fearful they'll be put on trial, having their actions, judgement, character and reputation brought into question by a defense attorney in open court. In cases where the accused is a powerful individual, the hesitance is even greater.

There's no doubt that we face great challenges as a society. But to downplay the trauma that dozens of women might've suffered at the hands of a possible serial rapist is incredibly ******, ignorant and heartless. Floyd better stick to boxing. His opinions outside of that realm are worse than useless.

It is to an extent but it's being highly exaggerated. Here's an interesting article that breaks it down.
