Those are the kind of offers that mean you DON'T want to fight.

If McGregor was even slightly serious, he would understand immediately that a potential fight between him and Mayweather would not take place under the MMA banner..... so McGregor would likely need to cut White out of the picture first.

IF he did leave MMA for that fight, or get an exemption (which would be near impossible without White getting a big slice of his pie) even at 80/20 in Mayweathers favor that payday would likely be more than McGregor will earn during his lifetime..... so his starting point is highly suspect

At the time when rousey was mentioning Floyd she was already selling the same amount of ppv's as him (against maidana and guerrero and more than the berto fight) hell her fight against a no hoper (holm, at the time was perceived as an easy fight) sold more than him other than the canelo and pac fight. And Floyd a against a no hoper (berto) only sold 400k. Maybe even less since showtime is embarrassed to release the numbers. At this point Mcgregor is doing him a favor.

You're completely wrong sir 2015 is when Rousey stardom took, same for McGregor. Before them the biggest star in the UFC was Jon Jones before he had his issues and all the attention was on the Light Heavyweight Division

Of course they attached Rousey to Mayweather why wouldn't they, you're talking the biggest PPV Draw in History who had the biggest PPV Event in History. After Pacquiao couldn't get the job done EVERYBODY was jumping on the Rousey Bandwagon and running around saying she would "Beat Mayweather" and that is how the hype took off in 2015 then her PPV Buys went up.

As for McGregor right now he is basically copying the Money Mayweather Persona to be honest Driving Around in Rolls Royce and show off his house. This is all GREAT MARKETING by the UFC. He did make a good point though. Floyd and many blacks act as if blacks were the only race who suffered and were oppressed throughout history. Black slavery doesn't even come close to some of the atrocities that others have endured.
