It's simple arithmetic. Don't know why it's so complicated for some people to understand. You pay $500 a damn plumber who you don't know what damn planet he came from for fixing a damn leaking faucet, how much do you expect him to ask for changing a damn toilet? Because fighters get punched in the head for a living, I do believe that they should have higher pay, but it should always be based on skill level. Guys like Adrien Broner making millions of dollars a fight while Guillermo Rigondeaux makes peanuts is bogus to me. I understand that boxing at it's core is still a business, but it doesn't make it any less bogus.

If the event makes money, most of it should go to the fighters.

If the fighters don't get the money, the network's/promoter's will.

As a boxing fan, shouldn't you be more concerned about the fact that the fighter is facing "bums", rather than how much he gets paid?

I want the fighters to earn as much money as possible, fk having TV networks and greedy promoters taking all the money..... but if a fighter continually faces underwhelming opposition I lose interest in him and don't watch.

Arum isn proven to be inherently dishonest, he is a blatant liar.

He has been convicted of bribery and corruption, he has taken advantage of many fighters over the years, he has killed numerous fights, and has lied to the public/insiders/media for most of his career.

Why would you choose Arum over Haymon ?
