u say multiple fights but only have one that is even remotely close to questionable...he doesnt have to make his ppl go anywhere if he wins the purse bid like he's been doing..is that a knock on him as well that he wont let others win a purse bid??

i say this hbo burned the bridge with haymon..they should mend it..simple as that..they only want haymon fighters when they are not favorited to win u understand that right? not much of a fence mending strategy..
oscar was teh drug addict and hbo looked right past it and was mad at haymon for not puttin gon fights vs top rank that hated him...it is as simple that they wanted for haymon to deplete his stable of fights and then they would see who they want to keep..instead he made an outlet for all of his fighters..how can u be mad at that..and he's given more good matchups than anyone else..
Of course you didn't hear it from Haymon he doesn't talk but anyone with a brain knows he killed both fights. And I just pointed out an example where he lost the purse bid and still refuse to comply. He will force a purse bid and if he wins he gets the fight and if he loses he just backs out and kills the fight. Why would Quillin and his team turn down a career high payday and vacate their belt? As for Beterbiev his camp was consistent that they ready to fight Kovalev for a year and then they get the fight at a purse that blows out anything they have ever made then you see his camp switch and do a 180 when the fight is offered on HBO (who signed off on the fight) which just so happens to be the same network that Haymon forbids any of his fighters from fighting. Stop playing dumb like you don't know who's agenda and who's beefs killed both fights. HBO offered to pay Beterbiev more then he gets on PBC, Haymon said no. And Roc Nation offered to pay a career payday in a fight Haymon's fighter would of been heavily favored. And still he refused so don't give me this about they only want to work with him when their fighter is favorite. Quillin was favored against Korbov and still the fight didn't happen which blows that theory out the water. Face it if Haymon does not control all the pieces or if it's a promoter or network he is feuding with he doesn't allow the fight period end of story.

Last Roc Nation wasn't trying to steal Quilin away it was a one fight that they won the purse bid they didn't own a contract to either fighter so it was going to be a one fight deal and he would of been paid big bucks and kept his championship belt. Nothing said Quillin had to sign to Roc Nation to get paid.

My point is simple Golden Boy is doing something we flat out don't see from Haymon and many other promoters which is let their fighter go to rival network. Golden Boy could of killed this fight many different ways like we have seen from Haymon but didn't. Golden Boy right now is the only promoter I see literally working with everyone else to make fans want to see. If the fight is not 100% on Haymon's terms on his own platform then it doesn't happen which is not good for Boxing.

      Rebuilding the Bridge?

Interesting to see that Golden Boy and Lou DiBella are working together. Glad to see these guys came to an agreement on getting Linares and Zlaticanin in the ring without the process being dragged out.

Hopefully Golden Boy rebuilds the relationship with Showtime so they can showcase more of their up and coming talent. They have too many contenders that are need more exposure than just getting fights on HBO every now and then.

even if you are right..quillen got lee and jacobs...why would u b1tch about that? and he did wat i feel everyone should do...DO AWAY WITH TITLES..the dont make the fight any better..they are killing boxing..look at ibf mandatories..look at them stripping unified champs..look at the terrible fees they take...CHAMPIONS MAKE THE BELT...THE BELT MEANS NOTHING!

so he should let ppl sue him and work with them? let networks kick him off and say it is ok? where were you when they were doing this? on there side still?? golden boy without haymon wouldnt have a home for linares..im sure linares managar has more to do wtih accepting this deal than golden boy does..likely tired of not having a network or a US fight for his fighter..if they are makin fights we want why doesn linares have a good fight on his resume since forever ago??
if the fight isnt 100% for hbo the wont take a haymon fighter..they just denied broner for pacquiao...lol and u praising golden boy who hbo runs..nobody is perfect in boxing but u mf try to make haymon the devel when he is just doing wat the white ppl are doing

Very competitive fight. Zlaticanin has looked sensational recently.
