Of course you didn't hear it from Haymon he doesn't talk but anyone with a brain knows he killed both fights. And I just pointed out an example where he lost the purse bid and still refuse to comply. He will force a purse bid and if he wins he gets the fight and if he loses he just backs out and kills the fight. Why would Quillin and his team turn down a career high payday and vacate their belt? As for Beterbiev his camp was consistent that they ready to fight Kovalev for a year and then they get the fight at a purse that blows out anything they have ever made then you see his camp switch and do a 180 when the fight is offered on HBO (who signed off on the fight) which just so happens to be the same network that Haymon forbids any of his fighters from fighting. Stop playing dumb like you don't know who's agenda and who's beefs killed both fights. HBO offered to pay Beterbiev more then he gets on PBC, Haymon said no. And Roc Nation offered to pay a career payday in a fight Haymon's fighter would of been heavily favored. And still he refused so don't give me this about they only want to work with him when their fighter is favorite. Quillin was favored against Korbov and still the fight didn't happen which blows that theory out the water. Face it if Haymon does not control all the pieces or if it's a promoter or network he is feuding with he doesn't allow the fight period end of story.
Last Roc Nation wasn't trying to steal Quilin away it was a one fight that they won the purse bid they didn't own a contract to either fighter so it was going to be a one fight deal and he would of been paid big bucks and kept his championship belt. Nothing said Quillin had to sign to Roc Nation to get paid.
My point is simple Golden Boy is doing something we flat out don't see from Haymon and many other promoters which is let their fighter go to rival network. Golden Boy could of killed this fight many different ways like we have seen from Haymon but didn't. Golden Boy right now is the only promoter I see literally working with everyone else to make fans want to see. If the fight is not 100% on Haymon's terms on his own platform then it doesn't happen which is not good for Boxing.
