I think you may just be brittle. I boxed from 15ish-25 Amateur, 3+ hours a day in the gym every day, sparring 3 days a week. 29 now, no aches anywhere except my knees in the cold, but they did that even when I was 12.Damn....I never had my nose broke but its always tender, did you ever have yours broke??? The first time I ever sparred I got my **** split and it kept happening until I learned to keep my head from being on the line of defense and to avoid standing square.
It just goes to show that if you haven't been in those shoes, you don't know how they fit
That's in regards to the non-athletes on this site.....athletes have to deal with this stuff for the rest of their lives. Imagine making it to his level and the trauma put on his body.....PAAAAAIN!!!
No sinus problems, no tenderness. Now being an active fighter, thats a different story. You never have a day where something isn't hurting, the joint in your jaw, elbows, knees, ribs, knuckles, not a kind sport.
Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe I'll develop all those things when Im 40.Comment

Do you know how often athletes violate doctor's orders when a 100+ million dollar payday is looming? Every single one of them.
Bro you are not supposed to be swimming or lifting anything over your head after shoulder surgery on a torn rotator cuff....this guy was doing that stuff less than 3 months from his supposed surgery
I had a left shoulder strain a year ago and couldn't hit my heavy bag for two months...on doctors orders....yet he was playing basketball and swimming after surgery.....yea friggin right...I couldn't even lift my arm past shoulder level without pain shooting through my arm or lift my groceries with a little help for several months
That injury was a lame excuse for an uninspired performance to pay the IRS back and save faceComment

I hope you never develop theses injuries. Maybe you just have superior genetics. My jaw joint sometimes pops when I eat. I pull my mouth open to relieve the tension. My doctor tells me it is a combination of damage, and age. He told me the scar tissue on my forehead, and my less than perfect nose, was further proof that boxing should be banned. Time gets us all in the end. Pride & ego fuel us until reality hits.I think you may just be brittle. Now this guy using the "shoulder injury" excuse for ducking Khan? When will Jr just come out and admit he knew he couldn't win? Floyd Sr already said Khan beats Floyd easy so it's just Jr needs to admit he got scared into retirement again, just like when Williams, Wright, Margarito and Cotto were in their prime, Floyd ducked them all and "retired". Now he gone and used the same approach with Khan, we figured you out a long time ago Floyd. The Mayvinci Code: Retire when you know you can't win.Last edited by FlatLine; 01-09-2016, 03:31 AM.Comment

Oh the irony
When it's Floyd it must be true lol
This is true and with one arm he put the brakes on a roided up Floyd
Now this is a true warrior. Fought through pain and as the dust settles post fight analysis shows Pac out landed Floyd with one arm.
LEGENDARY
Torn rotator cuff red mark @ right shoulder. It bled out.

Dr.Neal ElAttrache (the same doctor who performed the surgery on Kobe Bryant's). Explains Pacquiao's rotator cuff injury.
