Ward is superior from a skill stand point, but It will be interesting to see how deals with someone of Barrera's size. Barrera is reportedly taller and has a longer reach, plus he's just naturally bigger from fighting at CW and LHW.

Ward probably thinks he's going to put on one of these masterpieces..

lol, man to Wards defense he doesnt wrap up the arms like Dirrell, Kessler couldve fought out but kept looking at the ref. Thats why I like Tony Weeks, he always says your hands are free work your way out.

Assuming Ward is close to what he was before all the time off, he should win this one easy. The main reason this is an intriguing fight to me is we don't know for sure that he's the same guy who beat Chad Dawson. Even if he's slipped some, Barrera winning would be a big upset.

Ward IS NOT, and I repeat, IS NOT the same fighter he once was. He wasted his prime years away sitting on the sidelines. Believe me when I tell you that the former Cruiserweight fighter is going to PUNISH ward in this fight.

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Would be disappointed, but not surprised. I honestly thought Ward looked severely faded against Smith. That could have been the rust but I'm reserving judgement until after this fight.

Biggest thing to happen in Oakland since...

                    The last Ward snoozefest.

Don't bother buying a ticket, just wait until fight night and get in free.
