I like this fight. Maybe too early for Barrera's career, but I still give him a good chance.

Sullivan is trained by Abel Sanchez too. That should make things interesting...
Clinch festival should be an option.

Interesting. Didn't know Barrera was a hardcore clincher.

If Ward is as good as his fans think, then he should destroy Barrera but i see this fight being somewhat competitive. I am rooting for Sulli-B for the upset. Ward never wanted the fight, he tried to get Periban who gladly said no so Ward had to take this fight.

Even though Barrera never fought one good opponent so far and is pretty green it will be the best guy Ward has fought in several years.

We will see if Ward is ready for Kovalev.
Sensible comments. Ward fans are going on like their guy has done something extraordinary by taking on a reasonably acceptable opponent. Rumour has it that fan pressure and a few quiet words from people inside his camp told him to get a move on - and he needed it. I hope he's tested or beaten here, simply because I think he is very bad for boxing and the sooner his type is gone from the sport the better, but he should win, and that's ok, he has Stevenson, Beterbiev and Kovalev all waiting to stamp his ticket into retirement, thankfully.

I'm surprised this fight is official. I thought Ward was going to fight someone else like Chilemba. Barrera is not a boxer you take lightly, Ward is going to have to be 100% mentally prepared if he wants to win this fight.

Fine by me,Sig it if you want to. Ward is the favorite due to talent and experience, but I think moving up to a new weight class, against a young fighter with pop, while being inactive for a long time will be a recipe for disaster.
