HBO and Arum dont want Postol vs Crawford fight. They hope Pac fights Crawford after Bradley. If Crawford loses to Postol there is no money in Pac fight anymore. They just try to keep their boy undefeated until Pac fight

Pac is not fighting anymore. He's not like other fighters that have said "im retiring" and then a year later "sike im back". He already knows he has to choose between a boxer or politician. Frankly his time is up as a boxer.

An earlier article on Boxing Scene stated that Postol was either not interested in the Crawford fight or not ready. Now he's changing his tune?

"The opportunity to face Crawford came after several other opponents turned down the fight. Included among those either not interested or not ready for a February fight were Herrera, recently crowned fellow 140 lb. titlist Viktor Postol and former beltholder Ruslan Provodnikov."

Assuming all parties apply a spoken agreement to a fight contract, Hank Lundy couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present on Sunday. The 32-year young boxer from Philadelphia has entered a verbal agreement for a February 27 showdown with unbeaten 140 lb. titlist Terence Crawford. Once pen hits paper, the fight will headline at Madison Square Garden Theatre in New York City, with HBO to televise.

            crawford > postol
Faster and able to make adjustments quickly. His defense also keeps him from getting punched but keeps him in the right distance to hit his opponent. Postol has decent foot work but it leaves him out of range.

If you had read this article you would know it was his manager was the one that said crawford was taking the easier route. Hell even the title says "team postol".

its not even that. It wasn't Postol or his team who said they were unavailable, it was Arum and Crawford's side.

Now Postol side are calling BS on the earlier statement.

so, did he duck crawford or not? it seems that crawford's people never got in touch with postol's team in the first place (at least by this article)
