I like the stingy standards of the baseball Hall of Fame.

It isn't easy to get in but if you do it's a real honor, something special. And the Old Timers Committee is there to make sure everyone gets a second look as time passes by and gives more of a historical perspective.

Is there a British Boxing Hall of Fame or even some sort of museum in the UK?

I think that Derek Jeter can be the first player in history to get 100% votes.

I would love to see Paul O'Neill, Bernie Williams, and Jorge Posada get HOF inductions, but they likely won't. Actually I think it's too late for O'Neill, and Ithink for Williams too? Posada has a shot, he's one of the greatest offensive catchers of all time, and in my eyes he's only behind Berra and Munson in the all time Yankee catchers list. And among the greatest catchers of all time, Posada is without a doubt top 10 in history, the umbers are there, it's just like you said the baseball HOF is very tough. But I like it. Some of my favorite players aren't getting in but that's what makes it so prestigious. Great players don't get in. You had ot have been beyond a superstar to get in. In boxing, anyone who was famous enough can get in. It's not prestigious.

jeter was one of my favorite athletes when i lived in new york, but the idea that he's fit to hold griffey's jock is ridiculous.

Barry McGuigan was a worse selection than Gatti and Ray Mancini

Its funny how Mancini got in and he lost most of his big fights and can be a straight up bigot towards fighters who accomplished far more than he did

He was a good fighter, fun to watch but would've never received my vote.....Guys like Gilberto Roman, even guys from his own era and weight classes deserved to get in more than he did, at least before he did

what do all 3 have in common....they were fan friendly, white fighters...I call spade and friggin spade....its dozens of fights like Eddie Booker who should have been in a long time ago...I'd take a better fighter over an exciting anyday

Griffey had the sweetest swing i have ever seen...past or present. A true natural player

Bro, we live in a country where people even kids are getting killed by police daily and get a slap on the wrist yet you wanna act like racism doesn't exist......that's whats tiresome.

Im not trying to be disrespectful, what is your nationality and "race"
...we're all one race...the human race and all should be treated equal and given the same opportunites and love when we succeed
