I don't get it. Why doesnt ggg offer a shot to the nr 1 contender ofcthe wbo and then force the fight? Next time offer him less dough after the purse bid

He said he'd take less money for the fight to come to England. What would be considered "less money" then if $2mil isn't even good enough? GGG already has a date in April reserved for MSG.

I know as much as you. He said he can make the amount being offered in England against other fighters and would take less if the fight was in England for GGG. Maybe the idea of not having to travel and having his fans backing him is worth more and thats why hell take less.

GGG can keep his April date then. Bring on Johnson

Let HBO and Showtime bid also with Sky TV. The money is there but the fricking promoters are so greedy and lust for gold that that impairs the mega fight negotiations. Boxing is diluted by greedy promoters that stench up all of boxing. make the fights and throw in DeGale vs Groves as the Prelim and Hughie Fury vs Chisora or Helinius. DUH? It
s doesn't take a genius to pull this off just a smart shrewd business man thinking with his head and not his balls and rear end.
Your right...it would do over a million on PPV in England with that card....Anthony Joshua and whyte got 375 k PPV numbers for there last fight.....plus it would sell out Wembley....and I would be there watching it for sure...not to mention the PPV from HBO which would probably get 400 k as well....but brook is eddie hearns fighter and Saunders is frank warren and those two have serious issues with each other at the moment...the gate alone would pay for Saunders & golovkins purses....it would be a huge event but golovkn is fixed for September ....but It won't happen

WBO has nobody ranked at #1... There is Arif Magomedov at #2... A 23 old Russian kid. Do you think that would help somehow?

That's why it's becoming difficult for promoters to make top fighters fight each other now. If fighter A can make $1 million for fighting a cab driver, it stands to reason he will want ten times as much if he's asked to fight a top quality fighter. It's not rocket science.

Yup he really sounds like he wants to fight golovkin. Didn't he also say Eubank has to "earn" a rematch against him?

Logical stance from Billy Joe. Why fight this tough nobody, when I could fight an easier nobody for more money. Doesn't make financial sense (hmmmm, sounds familiar).
