Nacho Beristain: "Golovkin could destroy the career of Canelo...even retire him"

Says he wouldn't make the fight. And that Canelo is too important to Mexican boxing to be destroyed like that.

Why do ppl say he will end his career? I mean he'll lose and get battered, but why that he'd be done or retire after? Fighters of lesser caliber than Canelo have come back and challenge for titles, so?

Lou Dibella said the same thing, something like: it'll destroy a young career.

Nacho and Marquez don't like Canelo, and they are open about it. They have beef. It's no different than how Roach talked about Floyd for years before May 2nd. Canelo wanted to fight Marquez but Marquez verbally said to Canelo that he had no interest fighting at 154. Mexican radios.

Canelo is very proud and he cried when Mayweather schooled him. If he gets KTFO by GGG, I can see him retiring from boxing. At least there is a possibility...

Nacho is to Canelo, what Roach was to Mayweather in regards to interviews and talking about who can beat him and who he is ducking. 9 out of 10 times Nacho will pick Canelo's opponent to win, or that Canelo's opponent won. JMM is the same. Both great guys, but have a preset opinion of Canelo, that clouds their judgement of him.

JMM has actually gone on record saying that Canelo can beat GGG by decision. He also said he drew with Cotto unlike nacho who said canelo lost that fight.

Nacho also said that Margarito beat Cotto fair and square. Now what, maricon?? What's your opinion on that?

GGG might just end his career prematurely. If Canelo does fight after that, he'll probably never be the same. GGG is in the wrong era of boxing. Middleweight is at one of it's weakest points ever and GGG is better than the comp. Absolutely not his fault.

Maybe its because of how canelo is. If he loses, i dont think he's going to go out like a chump. He'll take major damage then gets ko or tko, but by then the damage has been done already. GGG aint no walk in the park.
