like I said, if you knew boxing then you'd know its about timing, where you land and how clean

Oh yea, since you dont like to read, I'll say it again...Ward is faster, better jab, combinations, younger, better footwork, busier and harder to hit than Popkins....is that a sad fact?

Oh yea, the fighter that dropped your boy was Blake Caparello who literally does nothing better than Ward and has 6 kos out of 20+ wins

kill yourself......go on youtube and watch boxing and let grown folks who actually watch everyone and not just 1 or 2 fighters have a real boxing conversation
    Caparello stepped on his foot

Except Ward isn't a 50-year-old man like Hopkins.

        • People counting Ward entirely out show a lack of boxing knowledge. I understand being a fan, but saying Ward has a 0% chance to win is fantastically ******ed.

I'm a Ward guy, but I'd never say Kovalev couldn't win because common sense is a thing in real life lol

You don't need to repeat yourself. As I won't, Hopkin's chin will always be better even at 50. Cry about it.

The irony when you tell me to watch boxing closely, when you think Caperallo actually dropped Kovalev. Rewatch that for me buddy, pay attention to who's lead foot was on who's.

                We can agree to disagree,

The thing that remains to be seen is if this is the same Ward or not. His last fight showed that he still has the skill, but we won't know if he can still deal with pressure until we see him with top opposition again.

My boy Hopkins made the crucial mistake of thinking that guys like Froch and Kovalev are all the same and that he was gonna do a Pavlik number on em'.

HE KNEW after that the fight that he was wrong. Which is why he respects Kovalev now and touts him during every telecast. It wasn't simply a matter of Hopkins showing up sick and old overnight. He got outboxed and knows this.

Froch has a very sloppy technique compared to Kovalev. I don't even know how he won some of the fights that he did.

Hmm. Ward tying up Kovalev on the inside will surely only work if he is actually physically stronger than Kov over 12 rounds. Maybe he is - I'm not sure. If he can't tie up then he will need to jab and counter from long range. I know Ward could do that adjustment mid fight. This is a tasty fight if Ward can't tie up Kovalev. If he gets in close and uses dirty ugly tactics it will be horrible but fascinating to watch.

I'm easy to please. I enjoyed Wlad-Fury - it was fascinating watching it unfold, so just seeing Ward-Kov in the ring will get my pulse racing.
