Both excellent fighters. Their fighters styles aren't similar though.

      My answer is no.

But I do think Brushmyhair is a rudimentary and aborted version of Stax on Deck.

First of all calm down pal. Second what you have posted in a little over 2 months is pretty high volume, and you haven't been here long so how can you have pop at anyone else? If you stayed at that level for the rest of the year you would have 60% of what I have posted in 9 YEARS. So yes I think I have an understanding of simple numbers.

So I take it you are going to stop posting here...when? Because if you stay then that would make you what? (A boxing fan on an internet forum dedicated to boxing...strange). Or a loser? Obviously there are people who post on here probably far too much, but what is it to you? You shouldn't be so judgemental.

I have a wife and a life...a good one. But I enjoy talking about boxing as most of my friends are only casual boxing fans.

If anything Duran is better at every aspect of Boxing than Manny pacquiao, except when it comes to speed.
Pacquiao is the better natural athlete in my opinion, sharper natural reflexes, speed and power but Duran was the better educated boxer. There's not a huge difference between them and fighting anywhere between 135-147 would have produced all time classics but I feel Duran from 135-147, aged from 26-30/1 was unstoppable. By unstoppable, I mean in the physical sense. No one was going to put him away. Pacquiao not so much so I feel that Duran could have broken him down h2h but it's a tough call.

So, Duran the slightly better educated boxer. Pacquiao the slightly more naturally gifted.

Did you just say Manny had more power than Duran.

Duran was an infighting specialist, when was the last time Pac fought on the inside?

this just isn't true! not at 147 and above, anyway! i will agree that he was primarily a life taker at 135. he had a freakish chin and power at the weight.

duran fought bigger men for much of the latter part of his career when he was making the most money and was a household name for beating ray leonard.

he could fight inside, but he wasn't depending on getting inside and grinding bigger men down. that's not a style that lends itself to climbing weights. duran is one of the best weight climbers ever! how's he an infighting specialist at WW and above?

duran was a very well rounded fighter. he was slippery, powerful, and had a great chin. when he moved from 135 his style changed drastically. he could do what he wanted against a lot of different fighters. he used boxing skills and professionalism to beat ray leonard in the first fight. he punched with barkley.
