HBO is trying to build his aura of invincibility, hence putting him in these kinds of match-ups. It's only his third HBO bout too, but these match-ups can't continue much longer. Hopefully the fight doesn't go long like Gallo's fights with Segura and Marquez.

Gio not only hasn't fought in more than a year and a half, but by the time they fight, it'll be close to 2 years since he's won a fight.

This is a joke fight. Offensively Roman will crush him. The only reason Gio is still rated is because he fought a top 15 guy in a 18 months... not won, just fought.

March 5 also means he's either a headline by himself or GGG is moving... and god help this b.s if he's headlining by himself.

I think they're putting him out there to sink or swim. Have you seen how much he's wants to fight Estrada and Gallo? He has to prove he can draw in order to get that much.

I liked the viloria fight, but three older guys on the way out in a row is a bit much.

If they couldnt make the absolute top fights (estrada, Ruenroeng, Inuoue etc) they should have looked for a prime opponent further down the rankings imo.

I enjoyed the viloria fight too but he's up there here in age. I want to see him in against a young champion like ioka or solid contender like arroyo. I'm positive he beats those guys but it will more impressive than finishing off estrada's left overs. I'm hoping the fight doesn't go like Estrada-Tyson. It was an enjoyable fight but he was way outgunned and it lasted too long. I love watching roman but I'm close to not just not bothering to watch if this trend continues.
