HBO is using the Golovkin strategy. Have a fighter look spectacular by crushing tomato cans.

It's like when WWE used to have their stars in squash matches against a jobber.

Giovanni Segura = Iron Mike Sharpe.

Not the best looking fight by any means. But you can't blame Segura for jumping at a career payday. You also can't blame HBO after looking at the current WBC rankings.

1 .- Nawaphon Sor Rungvisai (Thai) ABCO
            2 .- Noknoi Sitthiprasert (Thai)
3 .- Juan Carlos Reveco (Argentina)
            4 .- Brian Viloria (US)
            5 .- Edgar Sosa (Mexico)
            6 .- Giovani Segura (Mexico)
            7 .- Keyvin Lara (Nicaragua)
8 .- Thomas Masson (France) EBU
9 Kevin Satchell (GB) COMM / BBB C
            10 .- Zou Shiming (China)
11 .- Yodmongkol Wor. Saengthep (Thai)
            12 Froilan Saludar (Phil)
            13 .- Takuya Kogawa (Japan)
            14 .- Renz Rosia (Phil)
            15 .- Renan Trongco (Phil)

None of these other guys were going to sell any better than Segura. Boxing business as usual.

The source is probably Coppinger or Iole or Woodsy who're pissed at dan for taking their Breaking news and then he himself breaking it w/no credit

Either way with 2 months to go I'm not excited about who the opponent will be.
