Murray moved up to SMW, no way he can make 160 again and be at his best.

Not a bad fight for BJS if Murray is ok with 160. We all knew he wasn't going to fight Golovkin next so I always figured he'd take a couple domestic level fights and then go after Jacobs, maybe Golovkin.

The downside is if Murray wins that could make a unification even more difficult or he may just drop the belt and go back to 168 leaving the title vacant again.

If murray can make 160 and be healthy I think it's a great fight to make for sainders..

Murray is a proven guy that gave sturm and Serg hell during their reigns.. And he put up a better showing than most vs Golovkin

Saunders is a young fighter just now reaching his prime/peak and I think murray would be a great measuring stick to see if he could really handle a Golovkin or Canelo fight..

I don't follow twitter's infrastructure, but it seems like Martin Murray was the one who tweeted to BJS "Fight Me" with BJS then patronizing Murray's knowledge of the division he fights in, then tells Murray to let the mgnr's deal with it as standard protocol.

Murray would be a very dangerous fight for saunders especially if Murray had his head screwed on and went all out from the get go - hopefully he has learned from his fight with Abraham. Saunders ain't stopping him, thats for damn sure so murray just needs a very high work rate and hope to wear saunders out down the stretch.

probably a good fight for BJS all things considered though since he wants nothing to do with GGG and is probably too risky for Canelo.

Murray has weighed officially between 167-172.25 in his last four fights, and is now coming off of a loss. This fight doesn't make very much sense.

If he can make 160 though he's a tough fight for anyone other than GGG.

The irony of this fight being made is that Murray is officially a SMW, while BJS has reportedly struggled to make 160 last few times, and looked skeletal in his match against Lee. The fact that he ran out of juice after the 6th vs. Lee supports the theory even more.

They're both SMWs who will try to squeeze into MW.

All the more reason Bill will go for the G-Money fight.
