The guy doesn't look that huge to me.




He looks like a lanky fighter. He doesn't have that upper body mass or huge lats like Pascal. I'd say he is a natural Light-Heavyweight who is bound to outgrow that weight as he keeps aging, and turn into a small Cruiserweight. And I say small Cruiserweight because you have over 24 pounds of wiggle room. You can be a 180 pound cruiser or barely weigh in at the limit of 200lb, bordering on heavyweight.

There was an interview where he admitted that his dieting wasn't the best and how he struggled making weight properly, but Hopkins gave him a few pointers and now he makes weight comfortably.

Yup. Seen Kovalev twice. He was at Bradley/Vargas ringside and I saw him again leaving the Mandalay Bay at Cotto/Canelo. He was always to himself and on his phone so I didn't really get a chance to see how he acts.

Maybe It's just because I'm American and the majority of people are overweight but he's really not that big at all. I was surprised at how normal sized Kovalev is in person.

I've seen Gabriel Rosado a few times too. He's a cool cat. Always flexing with the shades and chains and always walks around with a dime piece but he seems cool.
