Not sarcastic at all. HBO needs to suck it up and do business with people they don't like. Countries that hate each other still trade with one another because it's necessary, and good business, but these guys can't get together for a bloody boxing match? Some of their biggest names have no one of relevance to fight. Kovalev is fighting pascal, again. Who is ggg going to fight if Canelo decides to just drop that belt? Is he going to fight Johnson, Andy lee, korobov? Those are terrible options and do nothing for their vision of what golovkin can become.

I know people **** all over his ppv but I've read multiple stories that said it turned a profit. It still did sell out msg and they sold international rights. Despite a poor ppv I think it's feasible that they made some money. So, why not do the same for the Jacobs fight? Theyve got momentum and I'm sure they could repeat if not beat those last numbers.

This guy BullSht Saunders is something else.

If no Canelo, GGG needs to pursue Jacobs at all costs. It's the only good fight at 160 for the fans.
You must be new to boxing. Cotto already showed what fear of GGG is like.

I think that had more to do with roc nation winning that bid. Regardless, I understand the hesitation but they have to at least try. Try and make these fights happen and if the other side is the problem then so be it. The world will see who the real problem is and it will enhance the reputation of HBO's roster. However, saying the fight can't happen unequivocally because they have exclusive contracts, sounds like a parent barring their child from playing with a friend because they don't like them. It's really petty. I think it's shameful and damn right laughable that a major player in the sport won't lift a finger to try and make the fights their roster needs.

I really don't see why Team GGG aren't convincing HBO and Haymon to do business. If the $$$ is right they'll do it. I'm pretty sure it will go to purse bid anyway; hopefully.

In reality, will get GGG vs Taureno Johnson and Omar Chavez for 2016 and you guys will love it.
Johnson is mandatory that is why they are going after Saunders since a unification overrides a mandatory. They were hoping it was going to be Andy Lee but BJS won obviously. btw, I don't think the IBF recognizes the WBA "regular champion" they only recognize the super champion so hypothetically speaking, if GGG vs Jacobs could happen next the IBF wouldn't recognize it as a unification, the mandatory would still apply.

What we would love is for a Canelo fight, next would be Jacobs and if neither then Saunders for unification. Johnson will serve as a decent mandatory defense while waiting on Canelo. Watching the middleweight shenanigans go down over the past couple years has been embarrassing and really a black eye for the sport. It's too bad so many of them have been so reluctant to fight the best in their own division.

They've show recently, along with the WBO, that they don't.

no one should. they just renamed the interim champ regular champ and made a second interim champ. danny jacobs pretending he's a legit champ. kinda sad. he should be forcing the wba for a fight with ggg the way ggg was with sturm. i think he might force a fight with rob salka or a rematch with sergio mora
