Next fighter of the Decade will likely be still active and at the top of the sport so I will pick Canelo of course if he lives up to his potential as a fighter.

Whoever is at the type of the Heavyweight Division by 2020 has a chance either Fury, Wilder, Joshua or who ever

Thurman has a chance as does Lomachenko, Gonzalez, Crawford and some of these other young guys who are starting to enter their Primes as fighters and will still be considered one of the best in 4 years

Mayweather beat Cotto, Canelo and Pacquiao. It is impossible for any fighter to top that over the next few years especially considering the state of boxing politics.

Canelo beat Cotto too. If he beats Golovkin and unifies the MW division at the age of 26, he will top Floyd's achievement in the time frame we're talking about.

And I don't want to sound like a hater, but Floyd's wins over those fighters are really overrated.

Pac - no explanation needed, it's a great win on paper, but Floyd beat a post KTFO6 version of Manny.

Canelo - he was green, his best wins came after the Floyd fight.

By 2016, Canelo will have beaten Lara, Cotto, Trout, Golovkin and he will have unified the MW division first time since B-Hop - Oscar. That's pretty damn impressive. And he still will have 4 years left.

Since beating Hatton, Floyd was all about money, he won't be FOTD in my opinion.
