Now, I'm not saying that Thurman doesn't have skills, he has great power, speed, and reflexes. That being said, he has been coddled for the most part throughout his career so far which is strange for a guy that is supposed to be taking over 147 (according to many people). He gets sloppy when he attacks and he swings wide after the first 2 or 3 rounds. I'm just not sold on him and I sense that he may not really be ready to step up his game for real challenges.
Thurman's main trait imo is his footwork. I really like his lateral movement. Aldo Bundu is a seasoned 147 and intelligent boxer, same goes for Collazo. As they are older and past their prime, they're still "legit" pros.

If Thurman surprises us over a victory against Porter then against Brook and 147 is back broiling with attention. Asuming Thurman ain't all that as most claim then I'd imagine Brook will take it. Or even better, Khan vs Thurman.

Thurman will probably make most posters on here eat there words when he takes Porter apart. I think he has good movement, faster, stronger, better reach, ring IQ.
You are not going to knock every opponent out, ask GGG,Wilder, Mike Tyson. Because a couple people went 12 with him is no more then any Mayweather fight just about. Lol,
          Keith still has that 0,
Porter beat no power Paully, the same guy that couldn't hurt a guy jumping 135 to 147 and u think that that means Porter might crack Thurman. Could but I doubt it.
At 147 I think now Floyd and Manny are pretty much done it's going to be between a few at 147 but I think Thurman is the one to beat at 147. Only time can tell us different. The only other I see is Crawford coming up. But again time will tell.

I think Brook would beat him and Khan would do well until he gets tagged. Porter is a nasty matchup if you require space to be effective which is a big part of Thurman's game.

I think it's safe to safe that Thurman hits harder than Brook or Broner, so let's see how Porter holds up.

If Thurman beats Porter in style then I could be convinced he is a real contender.

Problem is that he has looked so average lately he really needs a statement performance.

In reality Thurman has only impressed against slower less active fighters, Porter is very fast and closes the spaces Thurman needs to tee off.

Porter can be wild, but with controlled aggression he can decision Thurman IMO.

                  this is shameful....

just another full on mediocre pbc fight that is getting the 'mega fight' treatment for no reason. they did the same damn thing for the quillin - jacobs fight and the peterson - garcia fight! it makes no damn sense.

if thurman wins he still doesn't even enter the top 10 p4p.
