This guy is either ****** or deliberately trying to ruin the potential fight so that GGG just fights Johnson.

    Great fight?
It is to me I'm a fan of heiland
And I'd rather see him fight gg then Tureno

I'd like to see them shoot Jacobs an offer. I find a lot of the 'HBO guy vs PCB guy' talk pointless as there are very few fights big enough to see them working together on. But if Duva can try make the fight with Stevenson then K2 should at least try basic communication with Jacobs, just because it generates enough at this point and is the clear best 160lbers going at it. It seems neither side are eager for it though. I just really hope we don't get Toreano Johnson. I'm sure he's a nice guy, deserves the payday for his sick kid/mom/cousin but if so just give him step aside money for the rest of his career so we never have to see such a mismatch.

Loeffler's been saying for the past couple months, their #1 priority was the winner of Canelo/Cotto, followed by the winner of Saunders/Lee, followed by the winner of Jacobs/Quillin. If Bill turns it down, Danny's next on the list. Loeffler stressed he has a good relationship with Haymon & DiBella and won't hesitate to try and make that fight. If Haymon truly will allow his fighters on HBO, then I hope he leverages a Jacobs deal with Golovkin also agreeing to face Lara.

I'm glad he said they were working on other options aside from Tureano Johnson, I'd be fine if they paid Tureano to fight another eliminator to either give him more credibility or get him knocked off.

        Reading is fundamental.
Heiland is a good fighter and he has a goos chin he's ranked #5 by boxrec
It's obvious that dude has never even seen him fight.
Saunders most likely won't accept the fight.
So, I'd rather see gg face Heiland rather than tureno

You know shit is bad when Heiland is being touted as the best opponent for Golovkin.

They better make their mind up soon. His mandatory with Johnson is due in June so he has to fight in April at the latest. Or he can get that mandatory outta the way in April and be ready to fight Canelo in September.

Since Johnson is his mandatory, I'm willing to think Goldenboy give K2 leeway to go another rout and to fight Johnson after Canelo.

That way Johnson can build a better name.

He doesn't want to waist it when it's seen as a mismatch.

About half at least Johnson isn't scared.

It's bad when so many people who frequent this forum have strong issues with reading comprehension.

Or just choose to ignore what is written to come up with their own versions.

Let me break it down for you.

GGG will gain the WBC title. He'll get a mandatory that he'll have to fight, and they are saying Heiland is likely to be it, why not get him out of the way.

Now I say why not get Johnson out of the way.

I'm sure haters like you believe GGG should just say fuuuuck it to his mandatories. I'm sure that's it.

Canelo should fight Heiland in May. He's much better than Rosado.

Saunders should fight GGG in April, but I don't blame him if his team decides to go a different route and build him up. That fight will be there as long as GGG takes care of business in April and if he beats Canelo in Sept.
