The highest paid boxer this year was a black man. He only fought once. The second highest paid boxer this year was Asian. It seems like ********** are doing quite well in the sport.

I think Floyd's comments are directed at HBO, I don't think Arum is a racist, or Lou, or Tom, and so on, and so forth, but HBO has done some questionable things in terms of the fighters they have that are white. Steering Ward away from GGG, towards the bigger SK while disrespecting Ward is an example. Lamps got on the fight game, and snatched Wards earned PFP #1 ranking because he won't fight a light heavyweight? I also noticed there is what, one black fighter in the top 5? Its questionable. I also notice quite a bit of anger towards black fighters, now, broner, and stevenson are knuckle heads, and deserve it, but there is questionable things going in boxing, no doubt about it. By the way,Danny Garcia gets no respect because he fights bums and presents himself as an elite fighter. He talks in 3rd person yet only seems interested in getting in the ring with faded opposition.Last edited by Wizardsh; 01-01-2016, 10:25 AM.

Floyd....SMH
I just don't understand how a man who made more money off the sport is going to keep saying that ********** are getting played down? When was the last time their was a fighter of non color at the top of the sport? Look at the history of boxing the fighters who have made the most money are all **********.
Don't say GGG he's not white he's from Kahzakstan. That's like calling Dirk white but yet he's from Germany. That makes no damn since. Face it their is a great influence of talent coming from Europe and putting on good performances that and they deserve credit.
You mention how HBO doesn't bring up Al Haymon fighters but when do you ever here any of the PBC networks/Showtime bring up HBO fighters? Hardly ever. Al Haymon and all his fighters seem to be pretty damn happy making more than enough money and their not complaining one bit.
********** thrive in this sport and are doing well. From Oscar de la Hoya to Al Haymon to you Floyd Mayweather. Ill say it again I know your retired and your not used to being the center of attention but this is the wrong way to keep yourself being talked about. Build up your young talent, and hopefully some of your guys become household names next year.

Is he brain damaged?? HBO has a larger investment in Ward than they do GGG. Last time I checked, GGG didnt get $2 million minimums, and didnt get a salary as a commentator.
But to his overall point, he is simply ignorant. The whole model of PBC is that the fighter "doesnt need a promoter" so to speak. PBC does time buys, so the networks they use dont care, as they have no investment in the content. The so-called "promoters" they hire are basically flat-fee site coordinators, so they dont care because they get paid no matter what, and PBC has no front man / PR person to talk to the media about the fighters.
So who the **** exactly is supposed to be "talking about " those fighters?
What a choad.........lolLast edited by OnePunch; 01-01-2016, 11:04 AM.
