Are you kidding? He'd been trying since the opening bell to turn it around; couldn't land anything and was taking a serious beating. Those weren't pitty pat shots Valdez was landing.

I feel you about giving him a shot to turn it around, but his punches had nothing on em, he was having to reach in to even touch Valdez's face and was eating some monster shots for his trouble. And no one could see that better than the ref.

a pity stoppage. Valdez was using Grado's face for target practice. The ref should've let him continue after he made the count, but he was probably gonna have to stop him on his feet soon after.
