I would have picked Khan or Crawford, instead of a useless rematch. But what would happen to Brook if Pac picked Khan? He would go crazy looking for bums to fight.

I have to say that Khan had a chance to make his case when he fought Algieri, whom Pac KD'd multiple times. Khan made Algieri look like a monster.

No. Thats an old wives tale that just keeps getting repeated.

The ONLY time a promoter is legally allowed to take a percentage of a fighters purse is in a situation where the promoter lost a purse bid and the fighter is fighting on someone elses show.

It is against federal law for a promoter to take a percentage of a fighters contracted purse on his own event. The promoters "profit" is supposed to come from the difference between that purse (and the other expenses) and the total event revenue.

Edit: I will clarify one thing. Occasionally, in high profile fights, a fighter may elect to gamble on a revenue share instead of a contracted purse. For example, instead of say a guarantee of $5 million, and an upside on any ppv buy over 500k, a fighter might elect to take a lower guarantee against the profits of the promotion. For example, the fighter might agree to say a 70-30 profit split, after all expenses are paid. In that instance, technically the promoter is indeed making a profit of 30% of the proceeds, but it is not coming out of the fighter purse, because the fighters purse is the other 70% of those proceeds.

Most fighters dont go that route though, as they want a guaranteed number, they dont want to risk any money if the event does poorly, and they know it is doubtful they will get a true accounting of the expenses from the promoter.

Its certainly possible that one (or more) of Pacs fights were done on a revenue split scenario. I dont know that to be fact, but it would certainly explain the origin of the "but but but arum 27% doe" story......

Maybe he feels since he beat Bradley twice in his eyes, it's easier money than Khan or Crawford. I think that Pacquiao is done after this. Crawford>Bradley>Khan=Broner, he didn't pick the best fighter of his options but at the very least he didn't pick the worst fighters either. Both Crawford and Bradley are better than Khan and Broner. It's not a terrible fight for possibly his last time in the ring, but it certainly is not a fight that anyone is asking for. It's a better "final" fight than Mayweather vs Berto at least. We also know that Bradley will probably give Pacquiao 12 rounds, while Khan and Broner are more likely to get KTFO.

Pac is a disgrace. Nobody wants to see another Bradley fight. The mans a puppet. Even for his final fight he can't get an appropriate opponent.

Khan was calling out Floyd and Pacquiao and kept waiting for them to man up and fight him. He fought Algeiri because Pacquiao fought Algeiri, and he didn't have anyone else to fight. Brook fight is only big in the UK. Even Algeiri sells more tickets in NY than Brook would. Who the heck is Brook anyways? Who has he fought? Nobody knows who Brook is in the USA. But don't worry. Khan will fight Brook this summer.

If a fighter is calling out and wanting to fight two of the best p4p fighters, but doesn't fight Brook, he's ducking Brook? LOL give me a break.

How ****** do you sound now, troll?

Pacquiao isn't scared of anybody. Never has been. Never will be.

                    Wasn't his choice. He's not a ***** like Mayweather.

He wanted Broner, even Khan b4 Bradley.
