Of course. I was rooting for Marquez but was pretty sure Bradley would pull it off unless he decided to get Into a firefight. Luckily for Bradley, he fought rather intelligently and handed the vet a convincing loss. I was more shocked by the fact that Bradley stunned and buckled the legend at the end of the fight.

What happened in retrospect that makes it look meh?

Great win. fought him at a career high point, having acclimated to welterweight and didn't cheat him on the scales. Their physical dimensions are similar too, so he didn't relly need physical advantage.

How could it not be? Tim boxed very disciplined in there that night. But I don't know if he would've won a rematch; very close fight.

yea it was a great win.....whats unfortunate is the the fact that a marquez win for some fighters isn't as good as marquez win for other fighters.

so you'd have no issue with floyd rematching the marquez that bradley fought?

not to a knowledgable boxing fan

Marquez was past prime and has been on shaky legs for years...He still had his skills and could compete at a high level because of them and his toughness at an advanced age

A lot of people look at the PAC knockout but dont bring up that he got dropped in damn near all his fights 09

He struggled mightily at the highest level after the end of 2000s decade ended

Mayweather dropped him and schooled him, Manny was battering him before the KO, Katsidis had him dropped and looking worse for wear even though he won....even Bradley was knocking him off balance...you could see he had a clear head but watch when ever he gets dropped....the same leg usually gives out and when a fighter legs start to go, its over

Its a good win, considering JMM is a future Hall of famer

                    Definitely a good win.

But I thought it could have gone either way myself.

I see quite a few around here disregarding that win. I'm not entirely sure why. Could be because Bradley lost to Pac a couple times within that period. Could be because Marquez only had one fight since then and people are starting to forget about him.
