How does Pacquiao lose to Floyd, lose to a guy Floyd easily handled (Marquez), and have a worse record in title fights (14-4-2 vs 26-0) yet somehow be the better boxer? LOL

Here's how the people that matter saw it prior to May 2nd

That's all irrelevant anyway since he isn't from the same era.
                Good reserch very nice!

                  Of course he is.

Floyd's legacy is cherry picking to the fullest.

                  Will a 2010 formula 1 car beat a 2015 formula 1 car?

                  Of course not.

In formula 1 racing an old car can't compete with a new car. That's exactly what floyd does, picking old cars and trying to look good and say he beat that dude, but what he forgot to mention is that there was too much miles and outdated technology in the opponent's hood.

Floyd is all smoke and mirrors tsk tsk tsk.. Floyd's cherry picking is his legacy a false illusion. I know you Floyd fans won't like hearing it, but it's the truth.

And the funny thing is, there were fights he cherry picked that he should have obviously Lost, but was saved by the powers that was.

Castillo, Maidana, Pac, Delahoya comes too mind.

Oh and in formula 1 racing rules are followed to the letter. They follow rules or they get penalized from racing.

Floyd cherry picked and told them not to cheat, while he sneakily boosts himself with nitros (Peds/ivs) to get an advantage.

If it was formula 1 Floyd was competing in, he would have been stripped of his titles a longtime ago.

Polls on this site mean as much as a wooden nickle in a corner store...nothing

Ive been a boxing fan my entire life, read up on the history of the sport, fighters, techniques daily, have boxed and have trained fighters, clients and friends

I do my own research and form my own opinions, and that is the problem with a lot of these bandwagon jumpers and nut huggers on this site

I can support my opinion with a basis of facts and stats

1)Mayweather has the head to head win

                    2) Mayweather dominated Manny's rival in Marquez and made it look easy, while Manny didnt beat him clearly once, in 4 tries

                    3) Mayweather beat ODLH and Hatton first and closer to their primes

                    4) Pac is 6-2-1 in lineal title fights, 18-3-2 in major title fights.....Mayweather is 23-0 in lineal title fights alone......Mayweather has triple the title defenses

                    5) Mayweather has wins over more lineal champions, titlists, hall of famers and top ten contenders

look it up....i stated facts...if you base what is better on preference, thats cool, but I look at stats, facts then use my opinon and eye test.

Bradley was not a tougher assignment for Floyd....a fighter without power, who mostly boxes, but brawls and throws wide shots when aggressive.....i dont know what planet you're on or smoking
I always enjoy your post. Not surprised to learn you've laced em up and got in the ring. Looking at boxing from the perspective of one who boxed, has a huge Impact on how you see boxing vs someone who never laced em up.

First off he clearly lost to Jose Luis Castillo, but he did avenge that fight. Second there are other fighters who retired undefeated like Joe Mesi and even Edwin Valero (yes I know he died) so records are important but I wish more fighters would worry less about that and more about who they are fighting and at what point in their career they are fighting them. I fear that Mayweather set a standard of avoiding fights when they were important and picking those names up on his resume later so the history books will only show all these great names and no defeats. Definitely smart move, but dont play into it and feed into it by calling him the best of this era based on his record or other fighters will mimick that strategy.
Wow did you really bring up baby joe?????? As far as avoiding fighters go, is it floyds fault? Oscar and shane wanted no parts of floyd early on so is that floyds fault? He sought out those dudes he didn't avoid them. That they fought him later is on them not floyd.
