Roach thinks FM is the best of his era. Freddie likes the sound of his own voice and he always has opinions. To say a boxer is the "best" is always an opinion.
A fact is something you can verify like FM's 49-0 record.That might make some say, "he's the best, nobody ever beat him" while others might say, "he sucks , cause he never fought an elite fighter in their prime."
My point is you can argue facts but not opinion. Most people want to put across their opinions as facts and so you always have to ask can that statement be verified?
If I say a fighter is 6 feet tall and you say no way, we could take a tape measure and settle the argument. But opinions can't be verified so the argument just goes on and on.
Finally, what sets FM apart from others is being undefeated. I see his 49-0 record as a combination of skill and knowing who to fight and when to fight them. But thats strictly my opinion. lol
