It's ok to hate Floyd, but this is utterly disgraceful.

Then arum came out said manny can't fight in may he has to fight in june.

b00g13man-Yeah, yeah, we all know about the PED accusations. We also know of the settlement Floyd's people made for those unproven accusations. There has also been talk of failed PED test cover-ups and illegal amounts of iv saline concerning Floyd, so don't act like he's as pure as the driven snow.

Dunn- You know Floyd didn't want a prime Pacquiao. What is utterly disgraceful, is your relentless Mayweather pole-riding. You should be pretty chaffed by now. Give it a rest.

The fight would have happened eventually. Too much money on the table, not to mention that never fighting Pacquiao at all would have been a dark cloud that would have always hung over Floyd's career - the question of whether he could he have beaten Pac or not. As it is, there's still the question of whether he could/would of beaten him if he fought him in his prime (Mayflower clearly waited until Manny was "past it" before deciding to take the fight), but still.

Any version of Floyd beats any version of Pacquiao. YDKSAB if you believe otherwise.

It's crazy cuz before it happened, I thought if Manny ever lost, he wouldn't get the fight. Then I realized that's probably what actually made the fight happened. I'm sure if Floyd was having any doubts, seeing JMM put Pac out eliminated them.

Bottomline, Manny ran away from negotiation when the fight mattered most, and he and his team made up convenient excuses thereafter to prevent the fight from happening.

Failed PED test accusations from the brilliant mind that brought you the "IV Scandal"? Yeah. Good luck with that.

floyd had to cheat and devise an entire "drug testing policy" that allowed him to cheat and not his opponents. one of the biggest farces i've ever seen. and after all that pac still landed the much cleaner punches but he fought "floyd's fight" whatever that means so he lost. you would think landing the much cleaner punches would be pac's fight but he's a face first brawler who can't box so no it wasn't.

Yes manny landed some clean punches...saying he landed the much cleaner punches is overstated. They both landed clean punches...but not very many...mayweather landed the more obvious punches throughout. The fight was ****. Both were past their prime and both had poor performances, and we paid the arbitrarily inflated ppv price. We should all be more pissed about being ****** in than anything else that did or didn't happen in the fight, cuz most of us knew it was gonna be a **** fight and still paid.

If Pac didn't get knocked out the May/Pac happens probably about a 12-18 earlier.

After the KO I think Pac waited what 9-10 months to fight Rios. Then he had his tough test with Bradley in April 2014 I think which as long as he stayed up during the fight he was getting the decision to correct the previous robbery ( which it wasn't ).

As soon as he beat Bradley the wheels were in motion for May/Pac that's why Manny got served Algieri who was levels below and a year before the fight was fighting 8 rounders in his hometown. Manny did what he was supposed to do and looked phenomenal and had the public believing that he was back creating great hype for the inevitable May/Pac showdown

If Pac survived JMM4 and got the decision he probably fights Bradley after to avenge that loss in Sometime in Spring 13 gets his soft touch in Fall 13 and would set up a May/Pac in May / Sept 2014 IMO.

But financially it was best the way it played out

Actually if Floyd didn't have trouble with Maidana the fight would not have been made. Arum and Roach Floyd had slipped enough. They were wrong
