Carl Froch retired second from the top. That's not bad at all.

Unfinished Business
For someone who is happy and content on being retired he sure still seems to have the itch to lace them up again.
He keeps commenting on GGG, DeGale, and others. Saying that he could have fought them but said the money wasn't there and he retired or other excuses.
He got beat rather easily by Andre Ward. Missed a career defining fight against Joe Calzaghe. The crazy thing if he decided to come out of retirement he would probably considered the best in a division that is still full of questions.
There are great fights out there for him. Fights against GGG, DeGale, rematch Andre Ward, and others.
He had a very solid career, but it will be interesting to see if there is someone who can bring him out of retirement.Comment

Last I heard he was considering a fight or two, when did he officially declare his retirement? As someone else said he's always mentioning current top 168lbers as if he'll make a return and fight 'em, if he ain't then he needs to stop talking.

DeGale is ripe for the taking though, would certainly enhance his legacy too.Comment

I believe he doesn't want to retire but knows he's declining fast and doesn't want to lose to a guy he'd have beaten in his prime, Froch cares about his record a lot.Comment

Second best? Ward had fought once in that division for two years prior to Froch retiring and never has since.
Froch was the champ.Comment

Really? No Spence, Osyk (probably spelt wrong), Verdejo, Joshua, Lomanchenko (not P4P yet to me), Lubin, Degale, Brook....why not just throw in JCC jr.?
Next time just add top 10 LATINO fighters, I probably wouldn't disagree....tho, to be honest, I haven't heard of some of them, so maybe Im incredibly wrongComment
