ggg never wanted to fight ward? when he made his 154-168 statement he tried to fight ward and ward said the time wasn't right. then when he says he's staying at 160 he's ducking? gtfo. if you wanted to be accurate you could say he doesn't want to fight him now(since he has a canelo fight lined up so why would he fight unknown ward?) but to say he never wanted to fight him is inaccurate.

GGG fights at 160 and Ward fights at 175 now. I don't think it is ducking when the guy you are supposed to be ducking fights in a higher weight class. Besides Ward just ran his mouth but never made a written offer to fight GGG. You can't avoid a fight that was never on the table in the first place. When Ward made his badly overrated verbal call out of GGG he was already contracted to fight Lemieux and could not fight anyone else legally until that fight was over. How convenient for Ward. Who did Ward fight instead of GGG? Ward fought his favorite opponent, the feared and respected NOBODY. How can anybody duck Ward when he never fights? Ward fights about once every two years. GGG is fighting 4 times a year because that's what real fighters do.
