GGG's team didn't want that fight. Who needs to move up a whole weight division to fight the supposed number 2 lb for lb in the world? To prove what ? ... that you are the best mythical fighter in the world? That's why we have weights. I thought he was showing bulls enough offering to fight Froch - that would not have been an easy fight.

Meanwhile whereas a Ward fight was some mythical match-up from fighters of 2 different weight divisions - Canelo and Golovkin are in the same weight division and Golovkin is Canelo's mandatory.

Agree. Glolovkin and his team should have put an end to this a long time ago. They've been played and probably will continue to be played while chasing a big fight.

But Ward wasn't his mandatory. Ward wasn't in his weight class.
GGG is Canelo's mandatory. Canelo is in GGG's weight class.
