Golovkin said 154 was easy. Why would a fighter even state that and not hold up to it... Given Canelo's value in boxing between 154-160 now after Floyd, to turn that down only shows cowardice, as it would be the best purse GGG could ever make. That's a fact. GGG won't turn it down. Negotiations will be as hard like when Manny didn't want blood drawn for years... just excuses to delay bouts. Then when GGG realizes he's already 38 and the purses are still the same, he will agree to Alvarez's demands and the fans will say Alvarez didn't fight GGG in his "prime" with Alvarez still less than 30 yrs old!
