Comments Thread For: Donaire Wants To Knock Off Rigondeaux From 122 Throne

WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire (36-3, 23KOs) is back in the mix with the top names at 122-pounds.

Donaire suffered a twelve round decision loss to Guillermo Rigondeaux in a WBA/WBO unification bout in April 2013. After that defeat, Donaire made the decision to move up in weight to the featherweight limit of 126.

I don't think he can beat Rigo!
He can't move to 126, too many monsters waiting. Walters over powered him! Knocked the Flash out of him!!!

STOP IT NONITO! You can believe in yourself all day long, and you should your a good fighter. But stop letting your wife hype you up. Rigo beats the hell out of you 9.9/10 times. With that said... make the fight! No excuses, bad camp, "he didn't stand in front of me", "he ran all night!" (but your face looks like you gave Ray Rice some lip in a elevator) FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! WAR 122LB division these boys can throw down.

Already tried and Failed! He's declined as a fighter since his fight with Rigo. Would not be able to beat him at this point. He's too big for 118 but too small for 126. Has no choice but to settle with being #2, at best, until Rigo decides to move up.

He'd be doing Rigo a favor considering the man can't get any fights worth sht.

He should fight using his jab and not always using his left hook like always. And instead of coming to rigo let him come to you,no need to give a counter puncher opportunities by coming forward.

At least he sounds like he wants to fight him. That's a lot better than the other "champs" in the weight class.

Last time RocNation contacted Arum about a potential Rigo-Loma matchup, Arum said he hung up on them. So I don't know where he stands with them.

I'd love to see it. Better than Rigo fighting guys like Francisco.
