Spence is overrated like Imam and will be exposed soon.
That wasn't one of the choices. Why did you feel the need to bring up an Eastern Euro boxer in a thread that had nothing to do with him or his weight class?
I never pay attention to any type of hype. I only go by what I see in the ring. Mayweather was bragging on Spence and then he dropped Spence and backed Davis much more. I think Spence is a terrific prospect and I think he will be a star. I am wrong about things like this much of the time but I am on the Spence bandwagon. He is one of my favorite fighters.
I picked about equal. I am disappointed with Thurman lately, but I still think he has the goods to be a real champ. I am just not 100% sure how badly he wants it.
Spence has everything going for him. He is still untested, but he really seems to want it. He has more to prove, but from what I seen he has the goods. I hope they start moving him along faster. There is no need in holding back talent. Having them fight lesser guys does not advance them.
It's too early to tell at this point. Both are at different parts in their career. Thurman is a full blown contender while Spence is basically still a prospect so we'll have to wait and see how Spence will progress first. If he can remain unbeaten up until that time, then we can see for sure. As for right now, Thurman is more closer to superstar status than Spence is.
Spence is a charisma black hole, and he isn't that exciting to watch either, he gets the KOs(which he should at this level) but something is missing there. Thurman knows how to hype himself up and he was more exciting when he fought the guys that Spence is currently fighting. I don't see any of them becoming superstars but Thurman has more potential.
