If Mexico was a small island like Puerto Rico and had as little champs/elite boxers as they did I'm sure they'd feel the same way. So it's not fair for Mexican fans to say this is a b*tch move by Verdejo. It's his choice.

Vedejo will continue to smash Mexicans as he has done it. B1tches, wet bags.

Misguided nationalism...if a fellow Boriqua is in his way to the pinnacle of the sport he'll do what has to be done..nevertheless lookin forward to monitoring his progress.

Pedraza and Martinez are at 130 anyway. Verdejo will campaign at 135. And he'll be a welterweight before any of us think so I'm not fussed about that.

He said he will fight Martinez if he still a champ, but NOT PEDRAZA they are like brothers, Pedraza is a great talent, Why u guys think he gonna loose????

                  Jose Pedraza
                  Felix Verdejo
and Emmanuel Rodriguez they are the future of Puerto ricans boxing, Pedraza just had a off night with Cherry, but he is gonna be champion for a LOOONG time and ull see when he beats the top 130 pounders.

what's the big deal?!?...oh I get it, he's too direct or too upfront....maybe he should've hidden it like Floyd did.....since he fought Zab, he's had 13 fights and ONLY two were African American...4 years in between Zab and Mosley and then 5 years between Mosley and Berto....but I guess that's something only African Americans noticed...huh?...give the kid a break
