Comments Thread For: Mayweather Sr. Jabs Golovkin, Says Canelo Being Mistreated

Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of retired pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr., feels WBC middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (46-1-1, 32 KOs) is being mistreated by the World Boxing Council with their order that forces him into a fight with IBF/IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31 KOs).

so he said GGG is good enough to beat Canelo, but also not very good per the Monroe fight. He also said he would pick GGG now, but also thought Canelo could win.

      So lets recap....

      ggg is good
      ggg is not good
      ggg would beat canelo
      canelo would beat ggg

are there any other options he left out?

Canelo can very wellbeat GGG and if u think otherwise YDKSAB. And honestly im not sure if id call it an "upset". IfGGG is the betting fav im throwing some dough down on a Canelo UD.

All you Breadman brown-nosers sure flipflopped ur opiniins after he stated Canelo has a chance,

              Tell Floyd Sr To STFU

Nobody cares what any Mayweather has to say, nor do we need read anything media choose to report.

I think that Canelo beats Golovkin at 155 NOW, and if he fights Golovkin in 12 months time after adapting to 160 then that fight is 50/50..... other than that I agree with crackhead, Golovkin does have the advantage by mere fact that he is a true middleweight.

That is why I am very surprised to hear Team Golovkin agree to wait.

They simply don't roll like that.

Mayweather sr knows his stuff, but can't ever give a straight answer. Jeff is the only one out of the mayweather brothers who's ever been articulate.
