Three of my cousins married Filipinas, who brought in many members of their family from the Philippines. I am glad they did!!! All hard workers, and tax payers. In comparisonn several of my cousins are worthless piles of crap! People get spoiled in the U.S. Two cousins married Cambodian women, and they are also, amazing, hard working citizens!

Your mental attitude towards Pinoys in general is dismaying seeing as you have a half Pinoy daughter. If you have a mixed child you have to embrace that child's other half as if it were your own. In that other thread you were saying race is a lie and we are the world, to paraphrase..but in this thread some of your comments have been more divisive than that mindset.

You are mixed yourself...and have said you are proud of everything you are mixed with. Don't you want your daughter to be proud of all her heritage as well?

There are rational people globally, easy for me to relate too. I grew up poor, I don't look down on the poor, they are my people. Luckily I was born in the U.S. and driven to go farther than my parents. Opportunity matching. But in my own family, I see fools who hold themselves back. My parents ignorantly did not want me to travel to Japan because of the danger. They thought Japan was a dangerous place and attempted to push their irrational beliefs on me.

I got upset when my very own Chloe was telling me this today! Things her cousins and aunties are telling her. I had to clean up stone age clannish thoughts so my daughter won't be a self delusional person.

I fight this all the time. Manny really should just fight in the ring, and stop with the delusional thoughts.

I love that country, but get frustrated. I love America, but get frustrated. Japan too. Mexico too. Europe too.

I'm against small mindedness as well. My line is in the end people have more in common than not.... But to communicate a willingness to view other races colors and creeds as equals by respecting cultural distinctions and/or historical context.
