Lots of great fighters go through a phase of invincibility where it seems that they have perfected their craft to such a degree that they're virtually unbeatable.
Classic examples of the phase of invincibility include
* Bernard Hopkins - after his second loss, which was to Roy Jones Jr in 1993, all the way up to the mid-2005 Taylor defeat, Hopkins was unbeaten for over 10 years.
* Manny Pacquiao - beaten twice by vicious knockouts relatively early in his career, although with 3 years separating those losses, Pacquiao regrouped and became one of the biggest stars in boxing with his phase of invincibility perhaps extending from after his 3rd loss which was to Morales in 2005 up until his most devastating knockout loss yet to Marquez in 2012. Disputable perhaps since some thought Marquez won some of their previous bouts within this time period.
* Wladimir Klitschko - again, beaten 3 times by crippling KO at various points earlier in his career, Klitschko then went unbeaten with his phase of invincibility extending from 2005 to 2015 where he suffered his 4th loss, this time to Tyson Fury.
* Roy Jones Jr - His phase of invincibility extended from the beginning of his career in 1989 all the way up to his shocking KO loss to Tarver in 2004!
So what about Khan? Even his most recent fight against Algieri where he'd overtrained and was only approximately 60% of his best, he was still clearly in a superior league against a very well-prepared Algieri who put on the fight of his life, and probably the performance of his career, only to be fairly easily beaten by Khan if we're looking at the fight objectively and not blowing the small moments of success Algieri had out of proportion.
Is Khan in the Phase of Invincibility where no other fighter is actually capable of beating him, in line and comparable with other boxing greats such as B-Hop, Pacquiao, Klitschko and Roy Jones Jr?
