  • The problem regarding Ward is that the opportunity already passed, so boxing fans (of both Ward and Golovkin) should just come to an honest agreement. Ward is already prepped for Light Heavyweight. Ward, in all honesty, has bigger challenges to face now since the Kovalev bout, come 2016, is in the works. So for Ward fans that's what they are up against.

Now with Golovkin, he never had an interest to move to 168, that was just talk, even in interviews weren't in the context. I think the theory why GGG didn't move to 168 along with mgmt and consulting is that they were too pressured to fight Ward, nor did Froch have interest. Did Abel or Loeffler mention any other names, in detail, other 168 fighters? What were the price offerings too?

The whole catchweight request was strategically prepared during Ward's transition to 175, so any conflicts in press and affecting Ward's protocol to move up, would benefit Loeffler and Golovkin's camp, and with unecessary drama caused by fans.
Realistically there's no way Ward would accept a 164 lb bout... Why? Ward's opposition and circumstancial accomplishments supersede Golovkin, so again Loeffler and Sanchez took advantage of the situation knowing fully well of the conflict.

Regarding Golovkin personally he should just moved up an take top 10 fighters assuming Sanchez's theories that Championship Cruiserweights in sparring are easy...then it should be no problem for him to go 168. Being champ at two weights with a great record is better than padding a resume with random top 20 fighters. Mgmt theory is easy to understand when you view the ladder of bouts and comparisons at boxrec. There's usually a consistent pattern and culture.

I used to be a Chavez fan, but I know fully well that his Mgmt were very corrupt..

HBO was reducing its boxing budget as subscriptions dropped. GGG got higher ratings than Ward and made less money. Why would HBO risk GGG losing to Ward and risk losing his ratings (which tend to drop when a fighter loses)?

Ward makes far less as a commentator than as a fighter. They also let his deal lapse and signed him to a new deal.
Dude, no need debating with a delusional blind f.uck like that clown. Max Kellerman, HBO company man and biggest GGG fanboy, basically came out and admitted that from a business standpoint, it made sense for GGG to "avoid" Ward right now. Yet this ass clown is on here day after day after day debating and investigating. He's a delusional dumbass.

Yeah, I was shocked to hear Max say Jacobs beating Quillin was a better win than anything on GGG's resume.

Sometimes you just gotta be real. In GGG's defense, his poor resume is partly due to guys not wanting to fight him. But its also because he's been very selective about which "big fights" he was willing to take. No interest in Ward. No interest in Lara, a fight I think he'd win. He's basically doing the Bernard Hopkins. Sitting around waiting on lil guys to come to him. Even the whole unification deal. Wanting to unify, and the other beltholders not wanting to fight you isn't an excuse to fight ****ty competition. There's beltholders at 68. Try and unify there. There's belts at 75. Hell, the guy holding most of them was a guy GGG beat up in sparring. Unify there.

of course you didnt. Because nobody in the general public gives a hoot about Ward.

to compare him to hopkins is wrong bc hopkins at least had jones on his sheet...and another things..hopkins was a nobody in the sport..GGG is selling out msg..he doesnt have to wait on anyone to make him...he's waiting bc the waters are calmer if he waits..its a business i get it,,but it is a business for canelo as well..and that might mean he ducks and says he staying at 155...ggg would have to no claimt o say canelo ducking if canelo gives up the belt..that would be like degale say ggg ducking bc he wont come on up to 168..but at this current time canelo is ducking but ggg is accepting it
