Ward/GGG is likely never going to happen. At this point, I think people do want to see Canelo/GGG.

That doesn't erase history. When boxing fans wanted to see Ward/GGG-HBO moved away from the fight and downplayed it IMO because they were afraid Ward would beat GGG and ruin the investment made in him.

Really, because HBO asked Ward and GGG if they wanted to fight, GGG said yes, Ward said no.

GGG numerous times offered the fight to Ward. All he got was crickets.

Ward waited until he knew it was safe to assume the fight won't get made, then he said he wanted it all along.
