Daniel Jacobs hints at the GGG fight happening in 2016

Once Jacobs gets compensated to where he feels he's making enough for the risk, he'll climb through the ropes and give GGG what he's never tasted before. Which is a mix of boxing ability combined with speed and power. If Jacobs doesn't stop him, he'll be victorious in decision.

Fast forward a couple years Golovkin was in a different position, for one he was finally getting a unification fight against Lemieux and two he had the expectations of fighting Canelo Cotto winner soon after since he was the WBC mandatory. Further, and I shouldn't have to point this out but Jacobs and Golovkin are in the same damn weight class.

- 155 what? Canelo never offered a fight at 155. Publicly he said 155 to the media. Then after he beat Khan he said he would fight GGG at 160. Flat out said there are no weight problems whatsoever. Those were words spoken by Canelo. Of course what happened after that was him dropping the belt rather than even negotiate. So let's be perfectly clear about this - Canelo never negotiated a fight at 155 with Golovkin or any other weight for that matter.

Those were two golden opportunities to make GGG high risk/high reward in which he faltered on. GGG chose to make a smart business decision in one breath and "the best must fight the best" decision in the next breath.

See above. Further, the massive difference here is that Golovkin was mandatory to Canelo and actually tried to enforce it. He did everything possible even gave Canelo an extension to fight Khan. Canelo as you know dropped the belt rather than facing Golovkin. Ward obviously is in a different weight class. Jacobs wouldn't have to move up or down to fight Golovkin since they are in the same damn weight class. There are no weight complications that Canelo and Ward had. And again, Golovkin actually enforced his mandatory position something Jacobs hasn't. What has Jacobs done to make this fight happen? Nothing.

Jacobs has also admitted to being in negotiations with Loeffler. I think Jacobs plan was to take out BJS this summer thus continuing the GGG vs Jacobs build up. That plan fell a part when BJS pussied out and refused to fight Jacobs.

Was there ever a contract from Canelo/GB that was at 155 pounds that Golovkin rejected? Nope, never. We all know both sides went back and forth to the media about 155 vs 160. What I'm saying is when it came down to business, there was NO OFFER from Canelo, none. He dropped the belt rather than even negotiate. That's a fact.

Regarding Ward, I explained it to you perfectly. In 2013 Golovkin offered to fight Ward and he wasn't interested . That's why later Golovkin in an interview called him a *****.
