I don't think you understand that BJS is scared of GGG and won't fight him for at least another 18 months and Canelo-GGG are having trouble finding common ground on the weight issues.

It matters very much. If Tureano gets IBF belt, Canelo IMMEDIATELY will jump on it. Then HE will be the holder of two belts rather than GGG. This will weaken GGG's position in negotiations considerably.

For the record, Daniel Jacobs never asked for 3 mil; his trainer is the one that gave a number "off the top of his head".

What Jacobs says is he wants fair money. Well, what's fair money? We don't know because Team Golovkin hasn't made any attempts at even coming to the negotiation table. Nothing. I can't even find any interviews where anyone from his team mentions his Daniel Jacobs.

All I'm saying is, ok, if 3 mil is unreasonable, let's figure out what's reasonable. But for someone like GGG to be highly avoided, he has an interesting pattern of who his team decides to negotiate with and who they don't.
