              Floyd wasn't afraid of Manny at all. He knew Manny presented certain intangibles that he hadn't dealt with but he wasn't afraid. Like Freddie Roach said, fighters don't get scared they get concerned.

                Yes he was, but even Mike Tyson admitted he was scared, nothing wrong with fear.
                What matters more than fear, is how you use it. If you use fear to work harder, that is good, if you become so scared that you aren't on your A game, that is bad.

                      He took the most secure route to victory due to the high stakes on the line.

                      Floyd was also very conservative facing Oscar. There was tons to gain by winning.
