Thurman is the better boxer and more fundamentally sound, but Porter is a warrior who doesn't back down, and Thurman is often there to be hit.

I agree that Thurman should be favored going in, but I don't think he wins easily.

Because he's better in almost every area. Porter is sloppy, wild, technically poor and wide open. Doesn't have the best chin either.
